The Company

This is a local after school dance school which covers dance and drama. 

Both sessions open to ages of 4 and above. 

All sessions are run by Mikky Hayes who is the owner of MH Dance School. 

I have always loved dance, growing up I used to compete in dance and never really showed interest into drama until recent years.

After facing some difficult times i turned to dance to express my feelings and found dance to be a coping mechanism.  

After taking part in a performing arts course at sixth form I found  a love for drama, another way to express myself.

I taught dance in primary schools and even secondary schools during my time at sixth form which is where the idea of starting my own school came from. After witnessing the affect I had on others by me teaching and having them as an audience I knew this is the right thing to do.

This school is for children to have fun and meet new people but most importantly its to help children build up their confidence the way I did

 I would love to help others become as confident as I am when performing and even day to day life.  

 I'd love to see children enjoying themselves and showcasing the talents they have. 

As well as seeing them having fun while learning new skills.
